What began as a thought about vernacularity and architectural wooden trims, devolved into a couple of things and objects, made from slices of hardwood handrails. The profiles are familiar, but lifted from the background and turned into the main event, they take on a new, almost excessive character. Also, it’s pretty funny to wear a piece of handrail around your neck.
