It is a collaboration between Marie Lindberg and Andrew Lords. We make things we want to own or write or create. We enjoy the process and outcomes of making, and value thoughtfulness before realization.

The studio was conjured to encourage a gentle pursuit of a modest competence for ourselves. We’re feeling weary of side-hustles, of aiming to be “disruptive”, and of only accepting excellence. We would rather sit comfortably with our so-so skills, and our humdrum thoughts. Mediocre Studio is not an irony, but a determination. But mostly, the concept just makes us laugh.
