Guitar effects pedals take a dry, “clean” signal from the instrument’s pickups and change it tonally, before sending it further along the path, sort of like putting a colorful hat or a new coat of paint on something that can only be heard. Our take on these little noise boxes use handmade knobs crafted from DIY plaster terrazzo or fuzzy balls, combined with lumpy textured spray paint to make strangely tactile objects whose main goal is to add tactility to the audible, not the touch-able.
